Alpha Delta Pi is a sisterhood dedicated to lifelong personal growth and friendship. Our mission is to provide women with a meaningful lifelong membership experience that empowers them to reach their full potential through leadership, educational, philanthropic, and social opportunities. Founded in 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, Alpha Delta Pi was the first secret society for women. Phi Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, at Hanover College, was founded on June 2nd, 1913.

Founders
Florence Rohr of the Lambda Chapter initiated the seven charter members, Eloise Millis, Elsia Tate, Stella Kehoe, Marion Miller, Helen Engle, Mary Hook, and Ruth Terril. After their initiation, five freshman, Gladys Cox, Helen Reinheimer, Gwadlys Roberts, Helen Culbertson, and Helen Hughes, were then initiated making them the 12 founding members.

Ronald McDonald House Charities supporting families around the world and helping them access the medical care and resources they need. Alongside RMHC, Alpha Delta Pi has a second Philanthropy - Fly High Max. The Max Gruver Foundation's mission is to prevent hazing through awareness, education, policy, and law advocacy.
